Eid with AIM @ GULSHAN LAKE

Along Gulshan Lake there are many little tin houses standing partly or fully on the water. Also known as "Bosti" around here, they are home to whole families renting a little room each.

The aim of this project was to provide the neediest of these people with a little "mishti and shemai." We did the whole distributing thing ON A BOAT! We were able to give away approximately 30 Gift Packets to these families, including Some Clothes, the highlight being the distribution of sweets to the dozens of children who live there. Chocolates were distributed among more than 100 kids...

It wasn't much, but we tried our best to bring smiles on their faces to celebrate a happier Eid tomorrow.
